Jamón Ibérico de Bellota with D.O. Dehesa de Extremadura comes from purebred Iberian pigs reared in the wild pastures of Extremadura, specifically those animals slaughtered immediately after the final fattening period (montanera) in which they feed on a grass and acorn based diet in oak and cork meadows. In this stage, the animal will put on up to 60% of its initial weight.The hams are dried for about 36 months on the air of the Sierra Montanchez.

Denomination of Origin:

Dehesa de Extremadura only commercializes Iberian hams that are protected by the Denomination of Origin Dehesa de Extremadura. It is the strictest regulatory board of controls in the industry, and it rigorously enforces all rules. This attention to detail makes our hams the best available on the market.

Bellota hams with appelation "Dehesa de Extremadura" have a red-coloured seal and label. 

Ingredients: Iberian Acorn ham and salt.

Weight: One hand-cut iberian ham results in approximately thirty 100 gram vacuum-packed envelopes.


Expose slices to air at least 15 minutes before serving until they obtain room temperature.

Presentation: Vacuum packed for perfect preservation.

Conservation: requires no cold or any other condition, but can be frozen.
