Barbuda (Coprinus comatus) is an excellent kind of mushroom that is manually harvested when it is still very young. The warm and humid weather in the region of Galicia is perfect for the growth of  these mushrooms. This gourmet product will be appreciated by lovers of good food, both for its flavor as well as for the variety of ways there are to prepare it.

Ingredients: Barbuda mushroom (Coprinus comatus) and olive oil.

Packaging: Glass Jar of 230 g.

Culinary uses:

Great in salads. They can be grilled or put in scrambled eggs, used as a garnish for meat and fish, eaten with pasta and vegetables, or put in soups and creams. Can also be used to cook delicious rice and pasta.


Although in the beginning Porto Muiños was only specialized in dehydrated and canned mushrooms, today Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies and devises many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartare, seaweed noodles, and seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.
