The warm and humid weather in the region of Galicia is perfect for the growth of these mushrooms. A gourmet product appreciated by lovers of good food everywhere, there are numerous possibilities for preparation. They can be eaten fresh, but improve their aroma and taste once dried.

Culinary uses:

Add to soups, creams, and béchamel sauce. Added dry to stews and rice dishes, they create a unique scent.


If you want to regain their natural look, just cover with water for at least 1 hour. We recommend saving the water used in rehydration to prepare other recipes or to enrich rice dishes. If you use the mushrooms in a recipe that requires cooking, then you can add them directly as an ingredient without rehydrating them beforehand. Boil for at least 15-20 minutes.

IMPORTANT: Do not eat raw, this mushroom is indigestible.
