These delicious mushrooms that Porto Muiños offers us have been dehydrated so they can be enjoyed all year round. They are artisan made and contain no artificial colors or preservatives.

The warm and humid weather in the region of Galicia is perfect for the growth of these mushrooms. They are a gourmet product appreciated by lovers of good food everywhere and offer almost limitless possibilities to the creative chef.

Packaging: cardboard package with transparent window

Net Weight: 25g

Culinary uses:

Raw in salads; sautéed as an appetizer or entree; in scrambled eggs or cream soups; add to meat or fish dishes; in rice, noodles, and vegetable stews; in dough for lasagna, cannelloni, or  croquettes; can be used to make desserts and ice cream.

If you want to regain their natural look, cover with water for at least 5 hours. We recommend saving the water used in rehydration to enrich rice or pasta dishes.

If you prepare a dish that requires cooking, then you can add them directly without previously rehydrating them.

Although in the beginning Porto Muiños was only specialized in dehydrated and canned mushrooms, today it bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies and devises many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartare, seaweed noodles, and seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.
