Balsamic vinegar is widely used in Italy but also very popular in the rest of the world. It is obtained from a mixture of concentrated musts and matures for several years unlike other vinegars, which are made with wine. La Chinata marinated this innovative product with cherries, giving the vinegar a dark color, an intense aroma, and a flavor that's slightly sweet with a hint of cherry.

Normal balsamic vinegar is a wonderful tool in the hand of a good chef; add cherries to the mix and you have something truly special!

Use sparingly; we recommend one teaspoon per person.

Ingredients: Balsamic Vinegar of Modena (35%) (wine vinegar, concentrated grape must, coloring E-150, antioxidant E-220), pulp concentrate, cherries.

Packaging: Glass bottle, 250 ml.

Culinary uses:

Perfect for dressing salads. Pour a few drops on your ice cream or fruit salads. Ideal for preparing vinaigrettes with a twist or marinating fish, chicken or beef. Also a good base for sauces.


The history of La Chinata begins in 1932, in the region of Sierra de Gata in the province of Caceres. At that time, oil was obtained in very basic olive mills. Nowadays, however, they have the most modern grinding and pressing systems, which are still purely mechanical but  extract a much bigger quantity with a clean and controlled method to ensure the quality of extra virgin olive oil.
