In order to produce balsamic vinegar, new and old vinegars are mixed together in order to obtain a better result. Unlike other vinegars, this one is made from the must of wine, and this too improves the quality. After maturing for 4-5 years, it obtains a strong and slightly sweet flavor.

Balsamic vinegar gets its name from its use as a remedy for rheumatism where it was used as a balm to rub on the affected area.

Ingredients: wine vinegar, concentrated grape must, coloring E 1500, antioxidant, sulfites E 224, Acidity 6º

Packaging: dark glass bottle of 250 ml

Culinary uses:

Balsamic vinegar is great for salad dressings and because of its strong flavor it is not necessary to add very much (approximately one teaspoon per person). It also perfectly accompanies grilled meat and other hot dishes: Just before you remove the food from the heat, add the balsamic vinegar.

The history of La Chinata begins in 1932, in the region of Sierra de Gata in the province of Caceres. At that time, oil was obtained in very basic olive mills. Nowadays, however, they have the most modern grinding and pressing systems, which are still purely mechanical but  extract a much bigger quantity with a clean and controlled method to ensure the quality of extra virgin olive oil.

Currently, La Chinata is a benchmark for the Gourmet market because of its commitment to the development of new products derived from extra virgin olive oil, to the innovation of new delicacies, and to exploring new market niches.
