Conservas Cambados brings us this excellent product made using traditional methods, no artificial colors or preservatives, and with sea urchins originating only from Galicia. A can of subtle consistency and color that highlights the taste of the sea like no other seafood, this recently discovered product with an intense flavor can be used to garnish or complement appetizers.

Ingredients: urchin roe, water and salt.

Packaging: Tin with mesh presentation.

Weight: Net Weight 111 gr, drained 80 gr

Culinary uses:

This product is principally natural, without any dressing that conceals its taste, smell or texture. Ideal for preparing sauces, creams and scrambled eggs.

Nutritional value:

The sea urchin is fed only with seaweed and is a source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Nutritionally it is characterized as a low-calorie food also low in carbohydrates, rich in polyunsaturated fats and proteins, and contains much iron and phosphorus as well.


Conservas Cambados is located in the Ria de Arousa, famed for the size and abundance of its sealife. This lake favors the cultivation of bivalves such as clam and cockles or shellfish such as mussels which are grown in floating nurseries called "rafts". The careful selection of the best raw materials from the Galician Rias and the traditional process of preparation makes this artisan product very notable in its quality.
