Mollusks are invertebrates with a soft body and a shell. They live in the sea, clinging to the rocks or buried in the sand. Conservas Cambados is located in the Ria de Arousa, famed for the size and abundance of its sealife. This lake favors the cultivation of bivalves such as clam and cockles or shellfish such as mussels which are grown in floating nurseries called "rafts".
