After a careful selection, a thorough washing, and a steam cooking process, the mussels are canned by hand one by one. Whole, solid, and firm in texture, theses mussels possess lean meat and a unique aftertaste in their marinade, making them the most prized by connoisseurs. 

The world's most appetizing mussels grown in the Rias Baixas in Galicia, known for the extraordinary quality of its seafood. In the world of canned food, the mussel has a reputation as the poor relative of other distinguished seafood. This is incorrect as canned mussels provide higher nutritional value than other species of mollusks without saturating their great taste. Moreoever, they have the ability to change the face of any dish simply by adding them on the side. Coming from the Rías Gallegas, the quality is even more superior.

Rich in proteins and minerals like iron, zinc, potassium and phosphorus, these are a real nutritious luxury; an authentic and succulent marine product.

The mussel has a delicious meat. It is nutritious and, contrary to popular belief, very easy to digest. It contains very little carbohydrates and hardly any fat. Mussels are very rich in vitamins A, B, D, E and B3 which are essential to a balanced diet. A dozen mussels have no more than 70-90 calories.
