Zamburiñas are similar to vieiras (scallops) but smaller and with a texture and taste that are of a higher quality. The ones we offer you are made ​​from natural Zamburiñas to which is added typical Galician sauce made with onion, paprika, tomato, olive oil, garlic and salt. "Salsa gallega" is the mother of all Galician sauces, and often said to be the magic potion of the Celts. A homemade sauce, it is simple and excellent in taste.

Nutritional value:

The Zamburiña is a highly nutritious food, highly recommended to incorporate into a healthy and balanced diet to prevent various diseases. Contains significant proportions of vitamins, especially rich in B, A and D, and minerals such as calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus and iodine, all of which are basic components for a good nutrition.

Ingredients: Zamburiñas, oil, onion, tomato, wine, spices and salt.

Culinary uses:

A true delicacy that comes prepared in sauce which you can enjoy together with a piece of bread. You can also use this product to top off any seafood dish in the kitchen. Although scallops do not need accompaniment since their soft, thin, and juicy meat makes them a delicacy in and of themselves, they are also a tasty and nutritious ingredient in rice and pasta dishes.


Conservas Cambados is located in the Ria de Arousa, famed for the size and abundance of its sealife. This lake favors the cultivation of bivalves such as clam and cockles or shellfish such as mussels which are grown in floating nurseries called "rafts".
