Nori is a Japanese word that refers to varieties of red seaweed. It gets dark, almost black, when dry, and when cooked obtains a green hue.

With this product, Porto Muiños offers us a tasty and healthy pasta, which combines the carbohydrates of the pasta with the richness in fiber, vitamins, proteins and minerals (iodine, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zinc) of the seaweed. Among its healthy attributes is its remineralizing capacity, making it ideal for bone health and to strengthen nails and hair. It also removes blood fats and heavy metals.

Nutritional value:

High in protein and fiber. Low-fat. Sugar-free.  Contains vitamin A and C.

Minerals: Iodine (I), Calcium (Ca), Iron (Fe), Magnesium (Mg), Phosphorous (P) y Zinc (Zn).

Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina, Nori flakes (red algae: Porphyra), organically produced.

Packaging: Plastic and paper bag with an exclusive design.

Net Weight 200 gr / 2-3 servings


Heat water in a pan and when it begins to boil, add a little salt, a drizzle of olive oil (to prevent sticking) and then the noodles. Cook for 3 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.

Culinary uses:

Dress  the pasta just with olive oil or butter. Make your own sauces or view our section tapas and sauces  and choose, among others, pesto sauce with seaweed, putanesca or arrabiata.


Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures:  dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
