The sticky rice with wakame seaweed that Porto Muiños offers us is a high quality product, made with natural ingredients and very healthy thanks to the carbohydrates of the rice and the wakame's  fiber, vitamins, minerals and proteins; all of this makes for a dish with very few calories. The wakame is also ideal for reducing cholesterol and is rich in minerals such as calcium, which is very important for bones, nails and hair.

Ingredients (100% natural): Rice carneroli, wakame seaweed, fish broth and sesame.

Packaging: carton with transparent window

Net weight: 220 gr / 2-3 servings

Add the contents of the bag to a saucepan with a little olive oil and fry lightly for 15 seconds. Add water and cook on medium heat for 15 -18 minutes. Add salt to taste and let sit 1 minute.

Discover multiple possibilities by adding clams, asparagus, parmesan, rabbit or other ingredients to the rice to create different nuances. More ideas:

Sticky rice with wakame and shellfish:

Add raw shellfish (mussels, clams, cockles, etc.) to the rice 3 minutes before it is finished cooking.

Sticky rice with wakame and shrimp:

Brown raw shrimp (or shrimp, crawfish, prawns, etc.) in 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan. Remove the shrimp, add the contents of the bag and cook according to the directions above. Add the shrimp 2 minutes before cooking is finished.

Enjoy with barrel-aged white wines, rosés and structured sparkling wines.

Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
