An excellent way to prepare rice is paella. But if you want to taste a great rice with the taste of the sea, you must try the smooth rice with seaweed flavor that Porto Muiños offers us. The rice is mixed with seaweed and its preparation could not be simpler. Enjoy a delicious meal that is easy to prepare with a great taste and very healthy thanks to the carbohydrates that come together with the properties of seaweed, which are rich in fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients (100% natural): carneroli rice, seaweed, fish broth and sesame.

Packaging: Cardboard box

Net weight: 220gr / 2-3 portions

Add the contents of the bag to a saucepan with a little olive oil and fry lightly for 15 seconds. Add water and cook on medium heat for 15 - 18 minutes. Add salt to taste and let sit 1 minute.

Discover multiple possibilities by adding clams, asparagus, parmesan, rabbit or other ingredients to the rice to create different nuances. More ideas:

Rice with mild seaweed and shellfish :

Add raw shellfish (mussels, clams, cockles, etc.) to the rice 3 minutes before it is finished cooking.

Rice with mild seaweed and shrimp:

Brown raw shrimp (or shrimp, crawfish, prawns, etc.) in 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan. Remove the shrimp, add the contents of the bag and cook according to the directions above. Add the shrimp 2 minutes before cooking is finished.

Accompany the rice with a nice cold beer or a cold white wine.

Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
