Jamón Ibérico de Bellota with D.O. Dehesa de Extremadura comes from purebred Iberian pigs reared in the wild pastures of Extremadura, specifically those animals slaughtered immediately after the final fattening period (montanera) in which they feed on a grass and acorn based diet in oak and cork meadows. In this stage, the animal will put on up to 60% of its initial weight.The hams are dried for about 36 months on the air of the Sierra Montanchez.

Denomination of Origin:

Dehesa de Extremadura only commercializes Iberian hams that are protected by the Denomination of Origin Dehesa de Extremadura. It is the strictest regulatory board of controls in the industry, and it rigorously enforces all rules. This attention to detail makes our hams the best available on the market.

Store in a dry (Humidity: 65-70%) and cool (15-20 ° C) place.

12/26/2013 Klose Heinz. Das Feinste was ich je gekostet habe Ich habe diesen feinen Schinken als Geschäftsgeschenk bekommen und kann kaum beschreiben was ich beim geniessen gefühlt habe. Hervorzuheben ist wie der feingeschnittene Schinken auf der Zunge schmilzt und alle Geschmacksinne sich entfesseln....muss man mindestens einmal probiert haben.
