The defining characteristic of Porto Muiños is quality, and its secret is its mixture of the traditional and the avant-garde. Clam with sake and kombu is a scrumptious gourmet product. It makes for a delicious combination of the most famous Galician clams from the natural estuary fused together with sake (Japanese rice wine) and kombu seaweed. Sake and algae give an Asian flair wherein the qualities of the kombu are highlighted, which in turn increases and boosts the flavor of the extraordinary clam.

Ingredients: Clams, sake, kombu, water and sea salt.

Packaging: Can in cardboard box.

Weight: Net weight 85 gr, 50 gr drained / 10 to 16 large pieces

Culinary uses:

Thanks to its new line of tapas and a new concept of "open and eat" canned goods, Porto Muiños makes it easy to prepare a snack to impress your guests. Display this fabulous product on toast, over appetizers, or simply in a small dish and share its fabulous flavor with those closest to you.

We suggest  accompanying this product with sparkling fresh wines, perfumed and structured white wines, a good beer or white vermouths.

Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
