This spectacular Albariño comes from a selection of fine lees, fermented at a temperature of 16 degrees at which the technique of "battonage" is performed.

"The wine is made in the earth", and "the grape variety makes the wine" are two sayings that have become major philosophical principles in the practice of Adegas Valteas winemaking.

Information:

It is made of fine lees extracted from the best vats and previously-selected free-run juice. A long maturing vat wine of great intensity, it has a bouquet of ripe and jammy fruit, with toasted almond, figs, and hints of honey, none of which diminish the variety's quality. One of the biggest contributions to the wine production panorama.

The winery:

The area Adegas Valtea sits in a special microclimate that allows the grape to reach the necessary ripeness in order to make a quality wine.

The old vines – most of them are over 30 years old - are fondly taken care of, which unfortunately  makes the production more limited, but also guarantees quality. Technology and planning are also fundamental in the winery for the excellence of the final product.

Passion for Albariño Wine:
