Information:

The best start for a traditional Spanish omelette: select potatoes and our best extra virgin olive oil, slow-cooked so they keep all their taste and texture.

Ingredients: potatoes (75%), extra-virgin olive oil, salt. 

Packaging: Glass Bottle

Content: 212 ml; for 2 people

Preparation:

Open the bottle and drain the excess oil; if you like, you can save it for other meals. Use part of it to cover the frying pan (pick one that's roughly 20cm in diameter). While the oil is heating up, stir 4 medium eggs in a bowl, slightly seasoning them with salt and pepper. Once stirred, mix the product with the eggs and pour it in the pan. Let the omelette cook to taste, turning it once or twice.

11/16/2013 Roger Smith. Spanish Tortilla For those who don't know, the Spanish 'tortilla' is really an omelet. It's a great, simple meal that's easy to put together, plus it's not messy so it makes a great snack to take with you on a hike between two baguette halves as a sandwich. The only thing is preparing the potatoes can take a while, since you have to slice them pretty thin for a good tortilla. That's why I get these from Hola Gourmet, it cuts the preparation time in half and they honestly taste even better than the normal potatoes I buy.
