Rooibos is a plant that comes from South Africa and which is well known for its use in herbal teas. Its beneficial properties are numerous and include its antioxidant power and abundant contribution of calcium, magnesium and fluoride (very useful features for teeth). Also, similar to seaweed, it is extremely rich in minerals.

Porto Muiños made this herbal blend of rooibos and Galician seaweed, adding organically-produced orange blossom. It has a beautiful and intense caramel color and a mild but pronounced flavor which highlights the citrus scent. Furthermore, it provides a pleasing feeling with the calming and relaxing effects of valerian and orange blossom. It does not contain any caffeine or stimulants..

Ingredients: Rooibos, valerian, fucus seaweed, orange peel and organically-produced orange blossom flower.

Packaging: Carton Package of 100 gr

Heat water and remove before boiling (about 95°). Add 3gr of product per cup of tea and let stand 5 minutes.

Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures: dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
