Information:

This ham comes from Iberian pigs reared in the wild pastures of Extremadura. Their diet is based mainly on grains and legumes and a minimum stay of 60 days in the meadow, where they are fed on grain. The minimum slaughter age is 12 months, and they cure afterwards for a period anywhere from twenty-four to thirty months.

Race:

This ham comes only from pure Iberian pigs (black and retinto) or Duroc-Jersey with 75% Iberian blood. Its rearing and curing emphasizes more than anything at all times careful quality control and hygiene.

Recommendation for an excellent experience:

- Open the packaging 1 hour before serving.
- Cut into thin slices with a sharp Jamón knife.
- Do not use a machine for cutting because the ham looses flavor and aroma.

Presentation:

Delivered in five pieces; vacuum-packed, clean, and polished, in order to give the best flavors.

Ingredients: Iberian ham and salt.

Conservation: requires no cold or any other condition, but can also be frozen.

02/14/2014 Werner K.. Muy bueno Bin zu einem Stammkunde bei Holagourmet geworden und muss sagen dieser Schinken ist bestimmt die Beste Wahl wenn man kein guter Schinkenschneider ist. Wenn ich nur noch ein Stück übrig habe bestelle ich schon den nächsten Schinken.

11/29/2013 P. Bucher. Stück für Stück.... Dieser feine iberische Schinken muss man einfach probieren. Da er in fünf Stücken Vakumverpackt geliefert wird. Kann man ihn je nach Lust Stück für Stück geniessen. Ohne das de Schinken hart wird.
