Japanese seaweed salad from Porto Muiños is a composition of edible seaweed from the Galician estuaries that comes ready to eat or to be incorporated into your recipes.

This delicious, seasoned seaweed is selected from the Galician Rias.

Edible seaweed is quite healthy and nutritious because of its high concentration of proteins, vitamins, fiber, and minerals.

Ingredients: Seaweed, olive oil, vegetable oil, sesame, soy, and salt.

Packaging: glass jar

Weight: Net Weight 180 gr, 150 gr drained

Culinary uses:

Suitable as a garnish for fish, meat and seafood. Also eaten accompanied by potatoes and beans. It can be mixed in with boiled vegetables or used in sauces for pasta. Use it to give a different touch to scrambled or poached eggs, casseroles, or salads.


Porto Muiños bases its success on the analysis and research of the organoleptic qualities of seaweed. It also studies many other delicacies from the Galician Sea, searching out new flavors and textures:  dried seaweed, seaweed tartar, seaweed noodles, seaweed herbal teas. Enjoy this garden of the sea in the most diverse formats.

Where does seaweed grow and how is it harvested?

The seaweed from PORTO-MUÍÑOS grows on rocks covered by the cold, clean water of the Atlantic Ocean. The harvesting is done by divers, who select and cut the best specimens in the most appropriate season for each species. The seaweed is then processed immediately.
